did you miss it?

So I was browsing through some blogs and I stumbled upon one that made a mention of today as Ash Wednesday. Last year I was clued into it by people walking around with ashes on their forehead. Apparently such individuals have been since removed from the office. Whatever. I just need to remember to eat bleeding red meat every Friday for the next few weeks. Unfortunately this won't be anywhere near as entertaining as it was when I was at a catholic school. Oh well, the sentimental thought is nice.
